California:

Maryland:
Provides accelerated enrollment to Medicaid/SCHIP applicants whose
families already have active cases with the Department of Social
Services (TANF, Food Stamps, SSI, or Medicaid).
New Jersey: Piloted
express enrollment into Medicaid through the school lunch application
process. Ongoing use of simplified express application from any
entry point.
Vermont:
Uses the WIC income determination for Medicaid unless issues arise
indicating need to re-evaluate per Medicaid rules.
Virginia:
In 2002, passed legislation paving the way for expedited eligibility
processing for Medicaid/SCHIP based on enrollment in WIC/school
lunch. |
